Wind (2012)

Sound design: Marcus Whale

Projections, Set, Text, Voice: Ivan Cheng

Mentor: Nigel Kellaway

Wind explores constructions and modifications of lines as relationships. It looks at the naiveté of trying to quantify once forcibly pinpointing, and then traversing between, whether through time, geographic lines or memory. Oblique atmospheres generate around the audience with moments of clarity and crystallisation. The text is interested in possession relating to property and in responsibility, relationships. The work is conceived in several threads -- live vocal performance, electronics, projections, spatial process, and a progression in the sensory environment.
